Synopsis
The Only Way Through is Forward : How an American Survived Bankruptcy in Amsterdam During Covid - 19.
This is my story, a memoir covering 15 or so months from January of 2020 through March of 2021 and what happened to me and my business due to Covid-19. In addition there's the story of how I got to Amsterdam, how my family and friends stood by and supported me during this time and where I ended up almost two years later.
About Michael F. Luksetich
Michael Luksetich started writing when Covid-19 shut down the highly successful bicycle tour and rental business he had owned and run in Amsterdam for over twenty years. After being forced into bankruptcy, what began as a recording of what was happening became his debut memoir, The Only Way Through is Forward: How an American Survived Bankruptcy in Amsterdam During Covid-19. A truly unique autobiographical novel that combines history, wry self-reflection, business acumen, hope during a modern pandemic, and Luksetich’s satirical voice. Along with his blogs on Medium and Substack, Luksetich has two other current book projects, A Tour Guide's History of Amsterdam and Don’t be Stupid: The Uncle Rich Theory of Economics.
