Samenvatting
After the successful introduction of Philip’s first book, “Phrotose”, (https://www.austinmacauley.com/book/phrotose) this sequel builds upon the randomness of his lyrical inspirations spawned from his talented original approach to photography.
So prepare yourself for the continuing ride with more humorous poems, romantic rhymes, mournful verses and thought provoking prose where you will never know what insight awaits to assault your emotions on each ensuing page.
Discover exotic locations, the meanings of dreams, magical secrets of seduction and even finally solving the mystery surrounding the lost Holy Grail.
This collection is easy on the eyes to read, although it may prove harder for the mind to assimilate.
Designed to amuse and inspire, you are sure to be entertained and occasionally teased by the author, although, be warned, the occasional tear may be shed too.

Over Philip Wood
It can not be claimed that Philip has experienced an entirely conventional career as a chartered accountant. He has fully used his C.A. qualifications as a ticket to experience the world. Upon initially qualifying in London in 1982 he and his wife undertook a three year contract in Papua New Guinea. After this eye-opening adventure expired there followed a period where he travelled around the world before settling in Christchurch, New Zealand. After 29 years and having raised a family they set off again. This time for early retirement in France to sample continental life and leisurely travel around Europe. It was here that Philip compiled his first collection of photographs together with the prose they inspired. His first book, “Phrotose”, was published in London in 2019 and was always intended to comprise the first of a two part series.
Phrotose Plus now completes this anthology.
