Synopsis

The motorcycles DB 200 with tubular frame and DBK 200 with box frame were manufactured by Zündapp Werke GmbH in Nuremberg between 1935 and 1951. The single-cylinder, two-stroke engine with double exhaust system is particularly characteristic of this series. The Zündapp DB 200 motorcycle was built from 1935 to 1940 and from 1947 to 1951 as a civilian machine and during the Second World War as a military machine. Because of its robustness and reliability, it was given the nickname "farmers motorcycle". With 96,499 copies produced and a low purchase price, the DB 200 contributed to popularization in Germany. The Zündapp DBK 200 was produced from 1936 to 1940 and was expensive to buy.
