Osaruese Osawaru holds a PhD in Language Education and her specialization includes Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology in the domain. She is a university lecturer whose primary interest since the past fourteen years is in how learners learn and use language effectively as a native, second or foreign language. Since English is one of her working languages, as well as the world’s most used language at the moment, she decides, in this alphabetical collection of homophones, to engage both users and learners of the English language in a playful, yet educative activity of pronunciation, sound, spelling, meaning and vocabulary check. This collection in rhymed verses is spiced with a little mischief and would beautifully serve as exercises to measure knowledge, progress and mastery of English language for users and learners of all ages around the world
